Code of Conduct

At AdvancingX, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all individuals. To ensure that we maintain a positive and professional workplace, we expect all employees, contractors, suppliers, Career Astronaut Candidates, volunteers, students, and researchers to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Respectful Communication: We expect all individuals to communicate with each other in a respectful and professional manner, regardless of their position or role within AdvancingX.
  2. Fair Treatment: We value diversity and expect all individuals to treat each other fairly, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or other personal characteristics.
  3. Professionalism: We expect all individuals to conduct themselves professionally at all times, whether in the workplace or during company-sponsored events.
  4. Confidentiality: We expect all individuals to respect the confidentiality of company information, including intellectual property, trade secrets, and personal information.
  5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: We expect all individuals to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to workplace safety, discrimination, and harassment.

No Harassment Policy

AdvancingX is committed to providing a safe and respectful workplace for all individuals. We do not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, Career Astronaut Candidates, volunteers, students, and researchers.

Harassment includes any conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment, including but not limited to:

  1. Verbal harassment: making derogatory comments, slurs, or jokes about an individual’s race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or other personal characteristics.
  2. Physical harassment: unwanted physical contact, such as touching, grabbing, or kissing, or any other physical conduct that is sexual in nature.
  3. Sexual harassment: unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or any other conduct of a sexual nature that is unwanted and offensive.

Anyone who believes that they have been subjected to harassment or discrimination should report the matter immediately to their supervisor, the Human Resources department, or the company’s designated point of contact for such issues. AdvancingX will investigate all complaints of harassment or discrimination promptly, thoroughly, and impartially, and will take appropriate action, up to and including termination, to address any violations of this policy.

No Bullying Policy

AdvancingX is committed to providing a safe and respectful workplace for all individuals. We do not tolerate any form of bullying, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or emotional bullying. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, Career Astronaut Candidates, volunteers, students, and researchers.

Bullying includes any conduct that is intended to intimidate, exclude, humiliate, or otherwise harm an individual or group of individuals, including but not limited to:

  1. Verbal bullying: making derogatory comments, insults, or threats about an individual or group of individuals’ race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or other personal characteristics.
  2. Physical bullying: unwanted physical contact, such as hitting, pushing, or kicking, or any other physical conduct that is intended to harm an individual or group of individuals.
  3. Emotional bullying: any conduct that is intended to undermine an individual’s self-esteem, such as spreading rumors, excluding individuals from social activities, or intentionally sabotaging an individual’s work.

AdvancingX values respect, inclusion, and diversity, and we expect all individuals to treat each other with kindness and respect. We encourage individuals who witness bullying to speak up and report it to their supervisor, the Human Resources department, or the company’s designated point of contact for such issues.

Any individual who engages in bullying will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. AdvancingX will investigate all complaints of bullying promptly, thoroughly, and impartially, and will take appropriate action to address any violations of this policy.
