Biostrap will help monitor the health of Career Astronaut Candidates by capturing their health and performance data with its wrist-worn biosensor.Â
During the Career Astronaut Competition, Career astronaut candidates face extreme physiological and mental stresses, so through continuous biometric monitoring and analysis of exertion levels, as well as recovery guidance, we can start to establish individualized baselines to look into the effects of stress and see how career astronauts adapt to these stressors throughout the competition training. This information will help candidates learn how to optimize their performance for a space environment in a safe way.
